Thiết bị phân tích phổ tán xạ năng lượng tia X hay còn gọi là thiết bị EDX dùng để phân tích thành phần nguyên tố có trong mẫu cả về định tính và định lượng (%); Phổ X-Ray; phổ EDX; phổ EDS.

Đây là loại đầu dò EDS được gắn vào hệ thống kính hiển vi điện tử SEM, TEM hoặc FIB mục đích xác định được nguyên tố có trong mẫu cần phân tích và thành phần phần trăm nguyên tố đó theo khối lượng trong vùng được quét.

Các chức năng phân tích: Phân tích - Analysis; Phân tích điểm - vùng (Point ID), chức năng phân tích đường - Line scan; Lập bản đồ nguyên tố - Mapping...
